Thanks for answering some questions. I have read all the posts on the netbook. I have an upgrade in mind. All the content is still on the Nook HD+. I will be able to boot up that netbook. That netbook is designed for a Windows 8 OS because you can upgrade to 10 which is excellent. I have read that it is difficult to upgrade a Windows 8 to Windows 10. It will be better for me to have 10 on the netbook than to upgrade to 8.1 which requires lots of effort. I am going to look into the Asus main site and have a good stock of info on the netbook. Please continue the posts and answers. I am an old Win4 Hard Core. All the content was moved to the HD+.

I have been considering the Windows 8.1 upgrade from Windows 8 to Windows 10. It was $99.99 extra for the upgrade. Besides, the netbook runs quite well. I was afraid that the upgrade would take longer than a fresh install with a better Windows 10 OS. The netbook is doing well with Windows 10 and has a lot of different applications like a x6 terminal emulator, x6 web browser, x6 ereader, and more.
