I have a question about social media. Do you think if a company posts it’s web address on Twitter/Google + etc that the link will lose any of it’s inherent SEO value? I know that even when using an htaccess rewrite on the url, the only way the link will show up on the SERP’s is if the domain was used in the title/meta of the page but I’m not sure if this is just a practice I’ve never done or if it’s beneficial.
