I’m Gabriel Mafar, a freelance indie developer from France and I’ve been making games in my free time for the past few years.

Descending into what must be an extreme environment, you will be sliding along a series of 3d printed, soil covered blocks. You have to bring the environment down, while improving the fate of your world, yourself, and perhaps even your past self?
Kickstarting this game has been quite an adventure! I spent a lot of time working on this game, and though I released the demo early this year, I haven’t really been able to talk about it or share much. I’m really proud of what I’ve made thus far, and can’t wait to share this demo and all the work I’ve put into it.
Slide ‘Em Up Crack Mac is a puzzle game.
Slide the blocks to navigate through the environment. You’ll be working through a mysterious environment. Objects and enemies might appear, but all you need to do is destroy them and get to the exit!
If you go through the environment long enough, maybe you will find something?

To kill an enemy, you would slide along the block and press a block to destroy it!
The game consists of 60 intended puzzles. On average, each puzzle is about 5-6 minutes to complete.
Sliding through this environment will also help you determine when you’re going the right way, and when you need to back track.
And that’s just the tip of the iceberg! There are lots of features and mechanics in the full game.
I’ve been working on it for quite a long time, and am having a lot of fun developing and building it. I really don’t know how it’ll look, but I hope you guys can help me out!

Here’s the first episode of the game dev log series. In this episode I talk about the mechanics that I want to include in the game. I’ll talk about the reasons why these are in the game. [devlog] Introducing the Game Mechanic

Slide ‘Em Up! is a puzzle game where you slide along a grid, assassinating guards to get to the exit! As the title implies, there are plenty of puzzles. This isn’t a puzzle game like the popular Sly Riddles or anything. You’re killing every single guard on every single level to get to the exit. It’s a platformer with puzzle elements. This isn’t a game with much brain-breaking puzzles like Tetris or Candy Crush. It’s more like Super Meat Boy.

Each puzzle has multiple pathways through it. Different enemy types also make the game more difficult and fun to play. Each puzzle has 3 paths you can take:

The first path is the easiest path. It has a fairly safe path with not too many guards. The second path is a little harder and has a few more guards and/or other obstacles. The third path is the hardest path and has the most enemies and hazards. Some of the puzzles are designed so the correct path is the second path. There’s even one puzzle that is designed to be the first path for some players. That’s just an example. It’s up to you to find the correct path and the correct solution to get to the exit. You may get stuck if you take a wrong path. But the more you play, the more you will learn and make better guesses at what to do next. You may also end up getting better and better at the game through practice.
