Microsoft Releases Windows 10 Cumulative Update KB4497093

A new update KB4497093 was released for Windows 10 on April 30, 2019 and it addresses some issues with Windows Defender Application Guard and fixes a couple of bugs. It also fixes a potential Windows installer/layout issue. The update also includes fixes that may impact some users when connecting to 802.11ad networks.

So if you are not getting the new OS yet, are you at risk of never getting it? According to our recent test, the answer is no. Even though the installation was failing, the app installed fine. However, Windows 10 18362.53 doesn’t install builds 18369 or 19H1. Therefore, no matter how you got on the May 2019 Update, the update you downloaded is fine.
