The problem is that MIC limits the level of information you can collect, you could use the subfolders of a folder as an example to get the picture. The subfolders of a folder have a high level of integrity but the subfolder itself can be marked as safe, but the subfolder is not. So even if the subfolder is safe, the folder itself may be marked as unsafe, because you can not find out what is exactly unsafe about the subfolder.

I actually would have to agree with this, mic doesn’t add any value to what you already can do. And I would also agree with you that if the integrity level of a folder or file is completely unchecked, then its useless to know that this has a high integrity level.
