This module provides the interface to access the MFold database with Perl. As of today, MFold is a web-based service of the Molecular Biology Department of the University of Heidelberg.
It has several useful features that make it an easy-to-use software package.

* Mapping and searching for mutations
* Add queries to the index of a nucleic acid sequence database
* Download nucleic acid sequence databases as FASTA or FASTQ format files
* Compare nucleic acid sequences
* Copy nucleic acid sequences from other software packages
* Identify nucleic acid sequence matches
* Clean nucleic acid sequences (remove all character not from ACGTU or acgtu, and delete non-numerical characters)
* Change end characters of nucleic acid sequences
* Change start characters of nucleic acid sequences
* Change end characters of nucleic acid sequences
* Change start characters of nucleic acid sequences

MFold Interface Free Download

To use this interface, you need to have tk interface installed. You need to have the correct ‘Perl/Tk’ package installed. The package is located in the directory where tcltk.pkg is located. It is assumed that the tcltk.pkg file is located in a directory you have in your PATH variable.
