Plot
Kokil and Krishna are two country bumpkins. Kokil loves Krishna deeply, he even told the village people that he wants to marry Krishna, but Krishna is not interested in him as he is rich. So when Krishna’s grandfather comes to visit the village, an elder tells Kokil to remove the marriage proposal from the youth’s mind as he is a rich person and Krishna is poor. Kokil finds this extremely funny and he humiliates Krishna and his grandfather in front of the villagers. Things go into a fast-forward when Krishna’s mother comes to the village to get married. Krishna is willing to marry his mother, but his father is not. After much struggle, Krishna marries his mother and they live happily.
Then, Krishna’s family arrives for a visit to the village, with his wife’s family. Their visit is well received, and Kokil and Krishna become friends. But when they return to their respective villages, Krishna’s father does not approve of Kokil and his mother’s friendship with Krishna. So he orders that the two villagers can no longer meet. Kokil is furious at Krishna’s father and befriends a local robber. The two of them rob Krishna’s home, but Krishna’s mother is very upset at this turn of events, and she is even more upset when her husband does not listen to her. She tries to find a way to get them together, but fails. She then steals the robber’s clothing, takes it to the village, and asks her husband to shave off the thief’s beard.
Krishna’s father is furious with his wife for this act of defiance. When she tries to explain, his anger turns into jealousy and he tells her that she has betrayed him by staying with Kokil. The next day, he orders his wife to return home. But Kokil and his mother take pity on Krishna and his wife and run after them, begging them
