So good news for Android users, Doom 3, Resurrection of Evil and Doom Classic are now on Google Play via the Gluon-API Project http://api.gluon.vc/ . Just a softlink to the project in your Android home directory needs to be added to your system.
Another update on Gluon-API: Doom 3 games (Doom 3, Resurrection of Evil, and Doom Classic) are now working. All that is still missing is Doom 3 Multiplayer, but we’re planning on adding that any day now. The ETA is very soon, the Gluon API is probably going to be a key part of future game development.

This download contains the following:
- Doom 3 base folder. (1.1.1286)
- Screenshot showing the original not having the [New Level] button.
- Screenshot showing the newly added [New Level] button (with the game title in it). (the 1.1.1286 version)
- (Optional) The same level as an original version Wulfen Texture Pack , with customizable d3xp icon instead.
- Instructions on how to install the wulfen texture pack.
Doom3 source port is now at 1.2.0. Testing the latest 1.2.0 with old 1.1.1286 worked for me. You can add new launcher icons if you wish. Theres also a method to use it as a DMG. Do not attempt to extract the file and install it to a different location with just a back-slash before the filename. If you dont understand why this isnt possible I suggest youdont bother adding it to your desktop. But if you want to try it I recommend you simply extract it to the folder 1.1.1286/apps/dhewm3/launcher/, this is the first folder on the 1.1.1286/apps/dhewm3 directory. If you are in dhewm3.app try going to menu and at the top right of the screen click on the play button, this should take you to the launcher.
It should run. Theres a separate folder with the console. I have not tried opening this via a console yet, but I think its also possible. I am not sure how to set up the console to launch the game.
