and now let’s get to the elephant in the room. this game is happening on pc. now, in all fairness, the game is pretty competent and this is a game that we know that the original game is a pretty big hit. but, it’s not necessarily the game that was popular on the xbox 360 and the xbox one. so, what you’re going to see is that there’s a lot of attention to detail here that we’re very happy to see and the fact that it’s on pc is actually really important. it means that you’ve got a lot of control over how the game looks, how it plays and how you connect to your friends. it means that this isn’t a game you’re just stuck in one place and that’s it. it’s a game you can take with you wherever you go, and that’s not just true of the multiplayer, that’s true of the singleplayer too, and so i think it’s fair to say that age of empires iii: definitive edition is a game that any pc gamer should be able to enjoy.

how does it look on pc? well, it looks really, really good. it looks a lot better than the other ports we’ve seen so far. it’s also entirely customizable. there are two systems in place. there’s a system that allows you to change the resolution of the game, so you can play the game at whatever resolution you want, and there’s a system that allows you to customize the look of the game to the exact look that you want. you can change the color of everything.

the game seems to get a little better each year, but the free update has been an extremely disappointing for many players. with the exception of a few new units and buildings, it’s mainly about balancing the a.i. and adding more units with the same mechanics (gold, etc.). i’m disappointed that not a lot of changes were made and players who like the game would be disappointed that the new units aren’t as good as they thought they’d be. i like that i can play the base game, and then play the free update, but it’s just a different game. personally, i think that’s the main downside, and the main reason why i don’t play the game any more.

the big feature in the first one is that there’s a regular war, and there’s a war and here’s the interesting bit. that’s because you can actually go to the provinces of enemies, and you can actually start a war with the enemy if you want to, and so if you’ve got a bit of spare cash, the game is really easy to get into, and the actual gameplay is really simple, and there’s a good amount of depth. the second, the second phase is that you can form a coalition, and so you can actually work with others in order to go to a war, and you can start wars against other people, and that’s a really interesting aspect of the game because it really does make you think about the fact that you’re in a game where you can actually do this, and so it’s a game that’s very much in the spirit of both the original and the second version of the game.
the third era of the game is the golden age, which we’re now in. the new civilizations are spain, france and great britain, and the new technologies and unit types for each of those civilizations are included in the gold edition. with three new civilizations and three new technologies, the gold edition is a complete package of new features, content and new gameplay that represent the most substantial updates to the series yet. the three new civilizations of the gold edition are spain, france and great britain. each includes three new technologies and three new unit types, and the game also includes campaign modes for all three civilizations. as you might guess from the name, the new unit types and technologies in the gold edition are the rarest and most powerful in the game. collect them all!
