To create a black and white or sepia photo with Photoshop CS5, select Enhance > Adjust Color > Levels to access the Levels palette. Click the small triangle next to the black and white box and choose Black and White to make the black and white areas of your photo darker.

With the Levels palette open, click the box next to the Grey (0%) level to make changes. Then, click the box next to the Black level in the lower left corner to darken just the black areas of your photo.

To ensure you have the right Levels settings, click the Black point Sign next to the Levels triangle so that you can see the percentage value of the Black level. When the photo appears dark, the number should be pretty close to 100%.

If you wish to create a form template in Photoshop CS5, start with a basic shape. Once you have created that, the Shape Layers panel allows you to create more shapes and re-arrange the existing ones. This feature will help you create a form with more layers than in a traditional approach.

When creating a form, you may want to use shadows, so that the final image looks more three-dimensional. Start by creating a simple shape outline. Next, you can add text to the form by using the Type tool at top of the toolbox. Style the text using the Character panel in the Tools palette to change font type (most styles are covered here), font size, font family, and alignment.

Adobe has recently announced the new feature releases for Photoshop for 2021, as well as a range of new additions to Photoshop Elements. On Photoshop, there’s a number of new and exciting features, including reimagined filters powered by Adobe Sensei, which allow you to change the direction of a person’s gaze in seconds (it’s pretty trippy stuff!).

Photoshop’s filters are increasingly making their way out of the editor; for a long time, you couldn’t export a filter into an image in the browser, but now the ability to add filters to web-based projects exists. Now, Adobe gives photogs the opportunity to select how much of the image will be visible; it can be adjusted manually or in a range of different areas and clipping masks. For more control of this process, Photoshop’s help system includes its own crop tool that lets you select between rectangles and circles.

The ability to use the color selection tool to quickly paint colors directly to a selection or the full image is an awesome new workflow tool. Quickly brings up the color palette with a single button press, then you can individually colorize an image with one solid stroke. The tool can also be used to create selections directly from existing images.

You don’t have to settle for a single direction when working with shapes and paths; with the Reveal Hidden Layers option, you can see the layers you draw into objects for a deeper understanding of how shapes intersect in Photoshop.

You can scale up a photo in Photoshop for a detailed look at small objects. The scaling options make it easy to prepare files for print or to create retouches. The option works on layers, selections or the entire image.

I’d simply recommend getting a 64GB iPad Pro, a leather case (even the official Apple one is pretty good), a quality keyboard, a Lightning to USB-C cable, contacts, case, and an external battery and ask for the keyboard.

The only issue is the cost. At just $129.99, the price is quite reasonable. It’s perfect for the average user and well suited for hobbyists, families and enterprises alike. The pricing is a bit high, but it can be justified by its capabilities.

It’s easy to fall into the trap of just liking what you have, and being in awe of what you’ve accomplished in the past. That’s one reason why people who’ve never played with Lightroom might think the software isn’t very functional without additional applications. If you use a computer for recreation, it’s one thing to be amazed by the power of the built-in features. Another is to be concerned with how much power you can take away from it.

Adobe is announcing today the availability of the upcoming Photoshop 2018.1 software (Beta) for existing and new customers in the U.S. and Canada. The update is available for download to registered Adobe Photoshop CS6 and newer customers. The final release will be available in several weeks.

This release includes new features that work in tandem to improve the way you work on existing projects. Photoshop’s auto-save features provide a new option for easily saving a new version of an existing file with a new name. You can now use Adobe Camera Raw’s batch adjustments right in Photoshop, and you can now make faster adjustments to your images on the go using the new Adobe Lightroom Mobile app (coming in 2018).
