I really like Photoshop. It seems like the reviews are missing the fact that it’s a good product. My biggest issue is that it puts the undo command below the cancel command. So, when you revert a change you just go back in your head and think about what you did and then decide to undo it. Sure you can click cancel, but that’s a click a lot of people are loosing and it’s such a simple change. Maybe you should offer that as an update?

I’ve never heard about this until now. But I can’t find any information for it. The site says that Photoshop can’t import some camera RAW files and that it gives the following error message: “This file type is not supported. To import your image into Photoshop, you need to save it to another file type.”

I have tried opening a RAW file created with a Nikon D5200 in Photoshop Elements 11 with RAW export. But, Photoshop Elements doesn’t recognize it. The file is saved as an XMP file. While I can import XMP files into Photoshop Elements, I can’t open a RAW file in Photoshop Elements 11 with an XMP profile.

I have problems with Photoshop. My button to tab all the images in a folder is on the far right of the toolbar! I only have access to twelve of the twenty four buttons in my Photoshop because they are … hidden! I have to drag them from one position to another to get them to appear in the images panel. It is great that we can share our images with clients, photo studios, and other interested parties, but it can be hassle to get the reviews in. People take on board such a wide range of details that it can be hard to get a clear picture of what’s truly been done to enhance our images. Reviews only increase time spent on something we may not agree on, but in the end it’s a bit of work that might ultimately make a difference. In my opinion, we’ve come a long way making photos, but are there other areas where we can improve? The answer is a resounding yes. I would love to see major improvements in Lightroom’s ability to accept reviews in a more organized way. For instance, I could type in my review text and then immediately see how it came across to others or how it compares with how others have presented reviews. This might enhance my own reviews and underscore the global value of reviews from others. As a bonus, it might reduce the time spent in writing reviews. I don’t know what they call reviews, but they might be referred to as “testimonials” or “valuable feedback.” I don’t actually care what they are called.
