I think its great that you mentioned System Utilities rather than just listing them. Listing just the commands may give a reader a false sense of “what it can do”. I really liked the readme which gives a user some very basic instructions (Click Yes when it asks if you want to run as administrator) and also the help file which provides more in depth information and more than just commands. It is always great to see programs written to be user friendly. In addition, the author did a good job by adding thumbnails in the start menu.

This application is great for creating crosswords. It’s intuitive, and easy to use. And they have a built in help function that takes you step by step through the process. This product alone can make or break a school crossword competition.

I use XwordGiver to make the crossword puzzles at my weekly game night. The crossword difficulty is not too high, and the puzzles are great to read. I usually use the light theme, and have printed some of the puzzles for visitors to read. I like the size options: from 5×9 to 10×12.
