Let’s start by installing and configuring AutoCAD on Linux, Ubuntu, and Mint. By installing and configuring AutoCAD, we are installing and configuring the entire system, so we won’t be sharing any files with other users. This is important because any data used by other users will be read-only, and, of course, their data is separate from yours.

You can install AutoCAD on any Ubuntu release, including 18.04, 18.10, 19.04, and 19.10, because that version of Ubuntu will install a 32-bit version of AutoCAD. Is it possible to use MetaMask with Freelancer.com?

I tried to use MetaMask with Freelancer.com, but I couldn’t make it work. I tried every step that I could find, but when I try to connect to the Freelancer.com address from MetaMask, I get an error message saying something like this:

Invalid request
Unable to make request.
Error: connect ECONNREFUSED

I tried to connect to MetaMask and Google and also to testweb3, I get the same error message, I also tried to pass the MetaMask rpc network in the Freelancer.com settings and that didn’t work.

At the time of writing MetaMask doesn’t support freeLancer as you can see from the following screen shot from MetaMask app.

In the MetaMask app you can add your ETH wallet in the upper right corner. From the MetaMask app you can try syncing with any of the available wallets, just click on the little arrow. I am able to do so with my Ledger.
If you still have issues you can check with the developer to see if they will support freelancer. You can also follow Freelancer’s Discord to see if they respond.

Sacramento International Airport (SJC) receives $4.7 million to expand international terminal

The Sacramento International Airport Authority (SAA) today unanimously approved the selection of a design/build contractor for a $40 million expansion of its international terminal. The expansion is designed to accommodate the growing number of international travelers, and to expand the number of connecting flights to Asia and Africa.

The new international terminal will open in early 2019 and will be accessible by both Uber and Lyft drivers and from the adjacent Light Rail station. Light Rail ridership is projected to increase to 50,000 by the time the new international terminal is completed.

“The Sacramento International Airport is the leading airport for air travelers in the Sacramento region. We have the most international flights and the fastest ramp and the largest international terminal in the state,” said SAA Director Brad Huff. “That said, we know we have room for improvement and we are working on that. For example, we could be doing more to take care of our air travelers and help with their needs.”

The expansion, funded by the recently approved $2.6 billion General Fund Capital Improvement Project (GFCIP), will replace the existing international terminal at SAA and add a second level and a number of new jet bridges.

The decision to move forward with the international terminal expansion project came about after a comprehensive survey was conducted to understand the expansion options and to get feedback from the public. This survey also led to the first phase of SAA’s recently approved master plan.

The group eventually added DGN support to AutoCAD, producing a so-called “2.5” product that was an evolution of the earlier Architecture Assistant and AutoCAD.
